Torbe posted some pictures in his photo stream the other day that really captured my attention. His adorable dog Ramona has a new coat. El nuevo albriguito, with the use of the diminutive so as to indicate the small size.
New Spanish words that I pick up from Torbe are so helpful, particularly when they relate to objects or activities that I can actually discuss in polite circles.
Anyway, this photo really made me laugh...in a good way.
Listen. No American man would ever take a picture like this. Ever. And if by some strange set of circumstances such a photo were taken, no doubt about it...any American man would look totally gay in this pose.
But Torbe? Not a chance. Spanish machismo all the way. The guy is holding a chihuahua, for God's sake, and the pup is dressed in a pink hooded coat with fur trim. And yet Torbe pulls it off. I love this guy. :-)
Torbe is a big Star in Spain, whats else? :)
ReplyDeleteIs Torbe really a big star in Spain? Is he well known in many circles? From reading things about him online, it is hard for me to tell how many people there know of him. Is he looked down upon in certain parts of society because he does porn?
