Everybody wants to be Torbe!

It's really true. All men, at least here in the US, appear to want to be Torbe. Or they think that they already are Torbe.

But they are not. Not even close.

Take these recent examples from the American political scene. First, Arnold Schwarzenegger gets busted for having a love child with his housekeeper...and hiding it from his wife Maria Shriver (along with the rest of the universe) for the last 13 years or so.

And then just when you think that Arnold will never get blasted off the front page, a Congressman from New York steps up to the plate. Arnold definitely owes Rep. Anthony Weiner a muffin basket.

For those among us who are not familiar with Congressman Weiner, he recently got busted for sending sexually-charged tweets, accompanied by sexually-charged photos of himself, to young babes on Twitter who he has never met in person.

A real class act, in other words.

And these are just the famous people who are being talked about. "Regular" people here are getting busted for the same kinds of things here all the time as well.

So my theory is that they all want to be Torbe. But they just don't have the panache to carry it off.

  1. Good theory Giovanna :). They try to be Torbe but they will never get even close, you need to be humble to do that and true with yourself.

  2. Daniel, good point about being humble and true to yourself. Torbe definitely emits those qualities. Politicians here in the US...not so much. ;-)
